"This year's SHADOW ARCHITECTURE AT THE CROSSROADS ANNUAL is a salute to pluralism and equal time. Divided in four distinct parts, it is framed on the left with a reprint of THE CROSSROADS PRIMER-- the traditional school text published by the Bureau of Records and Track Statistics. This if followed by the pamphlet COMMON SENSE AT THE CROSSROADS, published originally by Evangelical Track Distributors. At the heart of the Annual is the great CHRONOLOGY-- another year of 'life and news' at the Crossroads-- with the bulk of the material drawn from media and official sources including: CPI, WCNC and The Crossroads Journal. The Annual closes on the right with DEAR CONSUMERS, an Afterword from our publisher and benefactor, the Chairman of th Board of the Crossroads Novelty Corp. This includes, for the first time, a list of the SEVEN PRINCIPLES OF EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT." (from the Editors preliminary comments, p. ix)
