Perhaps the quotation at the bottom of this page will interest Willian Olden, his criticism of Comment in 'Mud' is harsh and not, I think, quite justified. Perhaps also as Willian Olden has taken the trouble to write his criticism he would also take the trouble to interest a few of his 'real Moderns' in Comment. It should be their paper. The quotation is taken from an article in the last Art in Australia, by Herbert Reed." Cecily Crozier

Eliot once wrote a defence of what might be called 'the little magazine'—those obscure journals which spring up wherever two or three young poets come together and find themselves without any medium for communicating their views to an indifferent public.
