| "This book was made in response to the weed explosion that happened after the 2011 Brisbane floods. These floods devastated the area in which I was living. Afterwards, weeds predictably sprang up everywhere. The seeds were flushed downstream and settled in the rich muddy sediment left behind. Weeds are plants in the wrong place, and for us the plants that flourished ranged from listed noxious weeds to tomatoes and pumpkins." Helen Sanderson | |
